We are a subtle country (yes no matter if we are a colony, we are a place with a culture). We are almost an invisible island with an history –cause not many people care enough or maybe news never leave the shore–and a very deep and intense one.
Our fights are censored, so ours beliefs. Music has always been our medium for rebellion, we're lousy rebels, we are Taino (if there's something left In out blood), Africans, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Holland, Germans, English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and many more (maybe there's more in our lyrics than bane words) .
We've been fighting for centuries against two empires, we are brave, we are talented, we are very, very intelligent (one of the most says the science).
We are like that apology: "If a tree falls on a forest and no one heard it. Did it make.a sound?" We are subtle because no one in the world knows what the heck it's going on in this island.
